Dive Staff

The Dive Centre at NAD-Lembeh has some real characters, whilst their English isn't perfect, they will always try to accommodate your needs. Our Staff come from many different areas, some from Lembeh and Bitung, some from Bangka and Bunaken.
Our current dive team includes Nan, Jhoe, Rudy, Marnez, Abner, Aso, and Stenly.

NAN- Nan is our head dive instructor and dive guide with many years of experience in the Lembeh Strait. Anything you need to know, he is the man for you! He also trains the rest of our guides and staff who want to learn to dive.  A great addition to the team! :)

Rudy- Rudy is one of the most experienced guides in the Lembeh Strait. He can find you all kinds of weird and wonderful stuff underwater.  He is a little shy when you first meet him, but will do all he can to make your trip special.  When not in work he spends all of his time with his family.

Marnez- Marnez is a real character, who loves playing sheepdog on the dives - if you get seperated from the group he'll find you and make sure you're back with the critters.  We are currently training him to be a tip-top spotter.

He also loves anything to do with football!

Abner - Abner is back again!  Although he left us briefly in 2009, Abner is back and once again in top form finding all the small critters Lembeh has to offer.

Stenley - Stenley is so handsome he wouldn't let us take his picture for now. Stenley lives acress the straits and was trained by Rudy over the years.

At home Stenley enjoys singing songs for his wife.

ASO - Aso started working at NAD as the gardener, then moved on to a boatman, and is now an integral part of the dive team.  He specializes in finding Octopus.

Empi - Empi has come back to being a diveguide again.  He is an extremely gentle guide, and has eyes for the tiniest of things.
